Oolong tea Yashixiang ,also called king of duck shif aroma .This tea comes from the Fenghuang mountain in Chaozhou, China, and it's a favorite among tea enthusiasts around the world.
1.Why called Yashixiang ( King of duck shif aroma )?
According to local legend, an elderly man from Chaoshan brought a tea plant from Wudong and planted it in a tea garden with yellow soil, known as "duck dung soil." After tasting the tea, the locals all agreed that it was of high quality and asked about its origin and aroma. However, the tea farmers were afraid of their tea trees being stolen, so they falsely claimed that the tea was made from "duck droppings."
 2.Does Yashixiang (King of duck shif aroma) actually taste like duck shif ?
The answer is no. It's like there's no cat poop in the cat poop coffee. Yashixiang is known for its thick and dark dry strips, with shades of black and brown. When brewed, the soup has an orange color, rich aroma, and a strong and thick taste that lingers in the mouth. It has a sweet and smooth aftertaste with hints of bitterness and sweetness, giving it a unique and distinctive mountain charm that lasts long after the tea is finished.
 3.How to make duck feces tea:

Choose natural mineral water, followed by pure water or tap water for brewing.

Use about 7-10 grams of tea leaves.

You can use a Gaiwan or a purple sand pot depending on your preference.

The water temperature should be between 95-100 degrees and should be kept boiling.

The first brew is the tea washing, which should be quick (under 3 seconds) to prevent substance wastage. Do not drink the first brew, toss it out. The second to tenth brews can be made for 0-20 seconds per brew, with no machines, but instead using your personal experience with tea.
this Yashixiang tea has a strong scent and should be brewed quickly to avoid bitterness.
