  1. Pour approximately 3 grams of tea leaves into a glass cup, and add water at around 90 degrees Celsius until the water covers the tea leaves. Gently shake the cup to release the aroma and appreciate the fragrance, which is called "moistening the tea".
  2. Pour water into the cup until it is 80% full, with a tea-to-water ratio of 1:50. Once the tea leaves have completely unfurled, the tea is ready to be enjoyed

    Some people say that Longjing tea should be brewed with water at 85 degrees Celsius, while others say that water at 100 degrees Celsius works just as well. So what is the correct water temperature for brewing Longjing tea? In fact, the water temperature for brewing Longjing tea can range from 85 to 100 degrees Celsius, and it all depends on your personal preference. If you prefer a fresh taste, we recommend using a lower temperature, around 85 degrees Celsius. If you prefer a richer and more full-bodied flavor, we recommend using water at a temperature of around 95 degrees Celsius. Using water at 100 degrees Celsius can bring out even more of the tea's fragrance, and those who are sitting further away can also enjoy the aroma. However, when using water at 100 degrees Celsius, we suggest not to cover the tea immediately, as this will cause the temperature to drop slightly. If the temperature is too high, the tea will lose its original freshness. So, the most important factor is not the water temperature but your personal preference.
